Duodo Palace - Venice

Clean hotel, marvellous breakfast, spotless rooms. Tourist area, good and incredible location, very close to San Marco square and the Duodo Palace and the private water taxi to the airport which was the best 150 euro ever spent. And close to a grand showpiece square. Exceptionally comfortable beds and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and an individual safe. Canal view, amazingly nice staff who was also the concierge as well as the bkfst waiter.

Location very central, staff multilingual, rooms very beautiful in Italian style with fabric on the walls. Beds very comfortable, pillows unfortunately not.

Breakfast was kept very small. There was no restaurant (although there was a menu in the room?!). Hotel difficult to find for first-time travellers to Venice (but there are Google maps), with suitcases difficult to get there.

The staff was very helpful. and patiently answered questions. even extra wishes were immediately fulfilled. The hotel is cosy and the location is great.

the location is perfect for our trip to Venice. Centrally located and wonderfully quiet . a completely different impression of . Venice if you live there and are not only there as a day tourist. Would come back again.

0.5 miles to the airport. Stunning location, the room was spotless, brand-new;))

This was just an optimal selection for a break on our long journey in Venice with very good value for money. The staff were super friendly, helping us decide which symphony to attend. Be prepared for the heat. Open the window to cool down.

Booked it for two nights prior to joining a Med cruise from Venice. Wanted to have enough time in Venice to see the City highlights. Location is ideal as you can walk in 5 mins from St Marks Square.

super good location and still very quiet. Reception competent and helpful. Breakfast room a bit small, but breakfast for Venice very ok.

This hotel is FANCY, with quiet atmosphere and unbeatable location to the Opera House. The staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast is amazing with options to purchase extras if required, had fabulous food.

The style of the building. The size of the room. The position, very close to La Fenice theatre and San Marco's square, also from the window you can see a little channel where Gondola's pass often. Romantic and Stylish.

The television is old style too.

The hotel was perfectly located in the middle of the city. It's very easy to get to by public transportation (after finding the place) but I do suggest spending the money for a water taxi for the first visit. The decoration is charming and the hotel staff was great! The rooms weren't huge but it did the work. The view from the 4th floor over looked the city and we especially loved the windows and shutters that were actually functional. Overall, we would stay there again.

The staff were particularly helpful and the hotel had a old world charm that we found to be very comfortable.

This is a great hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was an easy walk into the centre. Room was wonderful with a canal view. We would stay at this hotel again!!!

Only negative was the bath tub/shower would use a shower curtain to contain the water. Not really a problem for us but maybe for the cleaning staff as the water goes all over the floor when you take a shower.
